The key benefits of our ladders are. You gain safe and simple access to your van roof rack for easy loading and unloading. The ladder swings out with the opening of the rear door without any additional operations. Ladders are fully compatible with rear van windows and rear wipers. No need for you to relocate the vehicle number plate or the vehicle badge. Wheeliams Hinge Mounted Rear Door Ladders have previously only been available to our roof rack customers but are now available to everyone through our on-line shop. All ladders are built to order and are available on a lead time of 4 working weeks with a fully welded construction using robust mild steel tube. Ladders are supplied unfinished in bare metal for you to finish as you wish. Built to fit the right hand rear door. Available in Low Roof (H1) and High Roof Variants (H2/H3). Does not interfere with factory parking sensors.
Our Rear Door Ladders bolt on to the rear door using the holes in the factory hinges with one additional bolt to be drilled through the skin of the door; this gives a simple, proven and stable ladder connection to the vehicle. Rear door hinges must be of the 180° type, if you have 270° hinges they must be modified as shown in our guide.
